ξύπνησα το πρωί

σα να είχες ξυπνήσει δίπλα μου

βγήκα στο δρόμο να σε συναντήσω

σ' ένα καφάσι ήταν μια εφημερίδα

που έγραφε πως ο Ιούνιος

ήταν ζεστός σαν τον πάτο του ωκεανού

και πως τα ψάρια χάνουν

τους συντρόφους τους γρήγορα

και πως μόνο τα κοράλια

μένουν σταθερά

στη θέση τους

σαν δαχτυλίδια στα χέρια

σαν υποσχέσεις

σαν ανοιξιάτικες μαργαρίτες

έτσι όπως συμπεριφερόμαστε

ελάσματα σε δυνατό άνεμο

κάθε καλοκαίρι

κάθεται στις σκάλες τις πολυκατοικίας

περιμένοντας

βγάζοντας μεγάλα κλαδιά

να δει ο ήλιος.
